Lindsey Blair's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
My name is Nichole. I am Lindsey's step-sister of many years. We grew up together, eventually became the best of friends, and she has become my inspiration, being the person she has always been. I am asking for everyone's love and support.

Please help Lindsey Blair (Cummings) as she has, unexpectedly, been fighting for her life. On the week of June 15th, 2025, Lindsey started to develop double vision when looking to the right. She went to the eye doctor and was told her vision was perfect, but that she had a slight CN6 palsy in her right eye. The next day, she had some tingling in her left hand and foot. She went to her son Levi’s baseball game the day after. She started to stumble a little with her left side, so she went to get checked out. After multiple scans and tests, they found that she has a Cavernous Malformation in her brain stem. It was hemorrhaging. Unfortunately, she was told, due to the location, it was inoperable. She was placed on steroids and sent home.

Wednesday, things took a turn for the worse, and she was rushed back to the hospital with increased hemorrhaging.

Unfortunately, things keep getting worse as the swelling continues to return on and off. Once the swelling goes down, she slowly recovers from her symptoms, but when it increases, it has the tendency to cause more unexpected issues. Every day is a new battle. Lindsey has been losing her vision, she has lost her hearing, her heart rate is down, she has severe headaches, and her mobility has become very limited.

A positive perspective... she was told, if the lesion continues to hemorrhage and gets to the side of her brainstem, that they may be able to do surgery. Once operated on, healed, and with some extensive rehabilitation, Lindsey may be able to live a normal life again. She may never bleed again. She may be able to wake up from this nightmare as if it were all just a bad dream. As of now, the lesion has grown; it has about tripled in size, but unfortunately, it is still inoperable. All we can do is pray that this, right here, can all go as planned. Lindsey has a very long road to recovery regardless of what happens.

As some of us can imagine, the medical expenses, as well as the household bills, are soon to become overwhelming. Brian, Lindsey’s husband, is doing everything in his power to maintain everything while not wanting to leave her side. (For anything can happen at any given time) Lindsey and Brian have 4 beautiful children to care for and a new home that they had just purchased, not having the slightest idea that any of this would come to be. They are an amazing family who can certainly use our help at this time.

Brian has paid it forward fighting in our military for many years to keep our country safe and has just recently retired. Lindsey has put in years of schooling, while raising their 4 wonderful children, to be able to help people in need of proper healthcare.

I am asking for all of us, together, to pay it forward, back to them. I am asking for any amount of donations to help cover the cost of living, medical expenses, or any other type of financial burden that should arise for this beautiful family of six. Anything to alleviate the financial strain. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference. If you are unable to donate, please share and say a prayer.

Please share Lindsey’s story and help support her journey to recovery.

All proceeds are set up to go directly to Brian and Lindsey
