Flood relief in Pakistan
Donation protected
Hello,
As many of you may know, the floods in Pakistan this summer have killed millions and left even more homeless and jobless. While the initial global reaction to provide immediate humanitarian relief was much needed, there is an even more pressing need to support the long-term rehabilitation and reintegration of the affected.
This flood relief is aimed at helping the residents of a rural town in North-West Pakistan - Noushera. The aim is to support environmentally resilient infrastructure development in this town to mitigate the impact of any future environmental disasters.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be disbursed through the non-profit - The Kafalah Trust to support flood victims in (1) building concrete/cement houses for families, (2) developing concrete/cement schools (3) supporting rural farmers in redeveloping shelters for livestock.
I appreciate your help, and please reach out through the contact us page of The Kafalah Trust for any additional questions.
