My name is Mike Wadley and our team and I help organize "Crawl for the Kids" with a theme of 12 Bars of Christmas.  This will be our 7th year collecting toys and donating to underprivileged children in a Title I Elementary School in the City of Denver.  The majority of children in a Title I school go without receiving toys because of their family's financial situation. Therefore, we would like to give students the opportunity to understand how it feels to receive at least one toy during the holiday season.  When we hear quotes from kids like, "I have been asking for this toy for years" or "This is the best day ever" it motivates us to continue growing our cause.  Our group has had the opportunity to donate to entire families. The families we were able to provide toys for were able to truly enjoy and forget about their day to day struggles while watching their children open presents during the holidays.  With the number of people who are unable to attend the event, but still would like to donate, we are making it possible with 100% of the money raised going towards providing more toys for these children.

We partner with White Hair Rocks, a non-profit organization who brings awareness to Albinism and helps families affected with Albinism attend conferences across the nation.  

Children with Albinism deliver all of the toys and educate the students on Albinism.  We discuss with the students how people who are different are fun, kind, caring, and giving.  This is why it is important to always treat everyone with respect and kindness.
