On 1 to 2 August 2026, we’ll be taking on one of our biggest challenges yet, climbing Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), the highest mountain in Wales, through the night to watch the sunrise from the summit.
We’re doing this to raise funds for the National Federation of Women’s Institutes (NFWI), the UK’s largest women’s organisation, now proudly in its 111th year.
For generations, the WI has brought women together to learn new skills, build confidence, form lifelong friendships and support their local communities. It provides a trusted place where women of all ages and backgrounds can share experiences, inspire one another and create positive change locally, nationally and globally.
The WI’s work continues to improve lives, support wellbeing and empower women every single day, and we are incredibly proud to support such an important organisation.
To help raise funds, we’ll be climbing through the darkness across the stunning Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park, a recognised Dark Sky Reserve, with the hope of reaching the summit as the sun rises over the mountains.
This will be a huge physical and mental challenge for us both, and every donation, no matter the size, will help motivate us through the training, the sore legs and the long night ahead.
If you’re able to support us, we would be hugely grateful. Your donation will help the WI continue its amazing work for future generations.
Thank you so much for your support.
