Medical Expenses
Donation protected
With the consent of my brother, Alrick Samuels, I am sharing his story and to seek financial help during this difficult time.
Alrick unfortunately suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on the 10th of April at his home, In Jamaica. He was quickly rushed to the hospital where he was later diagnosed with bleeding of the brain, with paralysis to the left half of his body. He is no longer able to walk.
He is 41 years old with 3 beautiful children. His world came crashing down at the thought that he might no longer be able to care for them as he normally would. He has always been an extremely hard worker, as providing for his family was his passion — it still is.
Fortunately, he has youth on his side, and with the help of physiotherapy, he possibly could walk, or even work again.
This is where we need your help. He is now released from the hospital but will remain an outpatient. This means he’ll be back and forth multiple times a week from the country into the city of Montego-bay.
Follow-up visits will have to be carried out to track his progress — this includes CT scans and other tests.
As a family, we have exhausted our resources to cover his medical expenses to date, and the debt has been increasing while expenses continue to pile up. With your help, Alrick will walk again.
Thank you in advance for your assistance. We truly appreciate it.
