Help with Bo’s recovery
Donation protected
My sweet brother, Bo, went to Children’s Hospital in Dallas last Tuesday for a routine tonsil and adenoidectomy. Turns out everything was but routine. He spent 2-1/2 days in the hospital due to low oxygen levels after his procedure. He was home in time for Thanksgiving, but evened up being taken back to Children’s by ambulance Saturday. He is currently on the pediatric acute care floor where he has been since Saturday. He requires oxygen to keep his oxygen levels in the low 90s. My mom found out this morning that he has RSV and another respiratory infection.
This has been an incredibly challenging time for our parents, Amanda and Cody. As parents to 8 kids they are doing their best to juggle work, hospital visits, and traveling back and forth to be with Bo—all while facing mounting expenses. My mom hasn’t been able to work since the Monday before last. Missed work and the additional costs of travel and hospital stays, the financial strain is hitting especially hard during the holiday season.
We are reaching out to ask for your help. Whether it’s a donation, big or small, sending us prayers or simply sharing this post, your support means the world to us. All funds raised will go directly to helping my mom and dad cover medical expenses, travel costs, and any other needs during Bo’s recovery.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for keeping Bo and our family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
