Zoo Adopt-a-Garden

Hey Everyone,

I'm volunteering for the adopt-a-garden project at the Louisville Zoo. It is going to be more costly than I realized.

The space they have given me is much larger than I anticipated. I will be responsible for purchasing, planting, and caring for this plot for at least the following year.

Due to the size of the garden, I'm asking for help to purchase plants and seeds to make sure that it stays beautiful and, more importantly, useful to wildlife throughout the seasons.

Any contribution will help. I'll keep a list of donors and keep you updated on the garden, as well as what you've helped me purchase.

I plan to only fill the garden with native perennials, and some non-native annuals such as sunflowers and zinnias.
