We are asking for donations to print signs and flyers in an effort to inform our neighbors and friends about the proposed Greenville City Zoning Ordinance. Most people do not know what is happening because the Ordinance is 443 pages, and the zoning map doesn't have street names. It is very difficult to decipher. I

The proposed ordinance has the potential to destroy our historic neighborhoods. Residential, single-family home lots, (R-6) would be changed to various multiuse/commercial/high-density classifications. Local church properties and their adjacent lots will become open and incentivized for development within old established neighborhoods. For example, one zoning reclassification would change a residential, single home lot into up to 16 multistory units, with setbacks of 4 ft from the sides and back, and 10 feet on the front.

Our goal is to educate and inform citizens. These zoning changes have strong implications for our beautiful city and its neighborhoods.
