We are a group of volunteer watersports users from many disciplines including swimmers, windsurfers, kayakers, kite surfers, and paddleboarders.

We have been campaigning for the last 12 months to have signage banning watersports at Silver Strand beach taken down.

The signage banning all watersports is still in place and we are now looking for the council to zone Silver Strand to give equal access to all water users and also making a safe swim zone for swimmers.

We have recently ramped up our campaign through an online petition

Also through professional drone and camera footage of us demonstrating how the zoning will work using buoys and flags.

We also printed campaign posters and displayed them throughout the city and have been working with media outlets to get our message out there.

We are seeking funding to cover the costs of our recent campaign push and any help would be hugely appreciated.

We are all volunteers and take no money.

All funds will go directly to cover the campaign costs of printing, filming, building of a website and social media.
