Zoe's Teen Challenge Tuition

Donation protected
One of the hardest things to do in life as a parent is to understand and admit that one of your children may need help that you are not able to provide.  This is the current situation in our home right now.

As parents of six wonderful children, it has been very difficult for us to come to the determination that our 15 year old daughter, Zoe, is in need of a 12-15 month stay at Highlands Teen Challenge Kansas City Girl's Home.  http://teenchallengekc.com/

Having our daughter live outside of our home is not what we would ever want in a perfect scenario, but we are being faced with the all-to-real fact that life is just not perfect. Over the past few months Zoe has ran away, been destructive to our home and others, and has been involved with the law on a couple of separate occasions. Her actions and decisions have totally turned our home upside down. Our other children are confused and scared for their sister, while everyone in the home wants her to receive whatever help she needs.

After looking and praying over several different options for help, we feel that the program offered by Highlands Teen Challenge in Kansas City is the right choice for our beautiful daughter.  They are able to offer her the structure, counseling, and direction that she needs right now to overcome the obstacles she is facing.  We have filled out all needed applications and she has been accepted into the program.  The only thing preventing us from being able to take her there is the upfront cost of admissions.

While the tuition is going to cost us $3,650.00 per month, we are making the necessary changes in our lives in order to afford the monthly fees. My wife has gone back to a full-time position at her work and I am seeking additional was to increase my income. Right now, we are seeking help in raising the needed funds to cover the up-front admission process.  In order for Zoe to begin her path of healing and recovery, we need to raise$7,500.  This amount will cover the first month tuition, admission cost, school curriculum, uniforms, student account incidentals, and travel expenses.

We are trying as hard as possible to have the funds available to enroll her before May 15th.  By doing this we will able to have our first visit with her in June. If she were to enroll after May 15th we would not be able to visit her until August.

We are so gratful for any support provided and welcome not only monetary donations but any prayers for our daughter and family as we move through this difficult time.
