Zoe Embleton's Eagle Scout Project
Donation protected
Hi there! My name is Zoe Embleton, and for the past 4 and a half years, I've had the incredible opportunity to be a part of Scouts BSA. Now, I'm embarking on a journey that's incredibly important to me, and I'd like to invite you to be a part of it.
I'm on a mission to make a difference in the lives of survivors of sexual abuse, and I'm doing this through my Eagle Scout project. I've teamed up with an organization called Saprea, which specializes in preventing sexual abuse and helping survivors heal from their traumatic experiences.
When women arrive at the Saprea retreat centers, they are often dealing with intense, emotional, and sometimes difficult situations. One of the first things they receive is a handmade blanket. These blankets play a crucial role in providing comfort and security to these women during their healing process.
My goal for my Eagle Scout project is to create 50 of these blankets. To achieve this, I need approximately 130 yards of fleece material. This is where your help comes in. Every penny you contribute will bring me one step closer to reaching my goal and making a real impact on the lives of these brave women. Any proceeds that are left after the acquisition cost will be donated directly to the charity.
No donation is too small, and every contribution counts towards creating a more compassionate and supportive environment for survivors of sexual abuse. Your support will not only help me achieve my Eagle Scout rank, but more importantly, it will make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it the most.
Thank you for considering supporting my project. Your generosity will have a profound impact on these women, providing them with warmth, comfort, and a reminder that they are not alone on their journey to healing. Together, we can make a meaningful change in the world.
