Campaign Title: Save Our Family: Rebuild Home & Livelihood in Hurricane-Devastated Jamaica

1. Who I Am:
My name is Glen Miller, based in London. The family I am desperately raising funds for is my own, in Clonmel, Jamaica.

2. Where I'm From / Where the Family Is:
I am from London, England. My entire family—multiple generations—lives together in a home in Clonmel, Jamaica, which was devastated by the recent hurricane.

3. My Relationship to the Parties:
This fundraiser is for my direct family: my elderly uncles, my cousin (a blind diabetic), her children, and another cousin (a teacher) and her husband. They have all lost their safe haven. Furthermore, my cousins, who are carpenters, have lost their workshop—destroying their livelihood and our family's primary income.

4. How the Funds Will Be Spent (Specific & Updated Breakdown):

The hurricane didn't just damage their home; it shattered their entire world. The house is uninhabitable, and the carpentry workshop—the source of income that supports this entire family—is gone. We are now fighting for both immediate survival and long-term recovery.

Part A: Survival & Shelter (Urgent Needs)

· Emergency Roof & Home Repairs: To make the main house safe, dry, and secure for the eight of them. (Estimated Cost: £2,000)
· Generator & Fuel: For power to refrigerate medicines, and for basic lighting and fans. (Estimated Cost: £350)
· Urgent Medical Supplies: For my blind, diabetic cousin—including incontinent pads, diarrhoea pills, pain tablets, rehydration salts, and her prescription medications. (Estimated Cost: £350)
· Food & Clean Water for 8 People: To feed two uncles, a blind cousin, her children, and another cousin's family. This requires a substantial, sustained supply. (Estimated Cost: £600)
· Cooking Gas: To cook for the large household with disrupted low supplies. (Estimated Cost: £180)

Part B: Rebuilding Their Livelihood (Critical Recovery)

· Rebuild the Carpentry Workshop: This is essential. Funds will go towards materials (lumber, roofing, tools) and labour to rebuild the workshop. This will allow my uncles to resume their work and provide for the family again, restoring their independence and dignity. (Estimated Cost: £2,500)

TOTAL UPDATED GOAL: £5,980

Accountability Pledge:
I, Glen Miller, understand my legal and ethical duty to use every single pound exactly as stated. I pledge to provide transparent, regular updates on this page. My family in Jamaica will send me photos and receipts for all major purchases—from bags of rice and medical supplies to lumber for the workshop and the builder's invoices—which I will post publicly. Donors will see exactly how their generosity is saving and rebuilding lives.

My family in Jamaica is facing a mountain of despair. They have lost their shelter, their health is at risk, and their means of putting food on the table has been wiped out. I am their lifeline from across the ocean. Please, help me give them not just a roof, but a future.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your compassion and support.

Sincerely,

Glen Miller
