I never in a million years thought I would have to do one of these, but I'm reaching out in desperation. The past 4 months has been a struggle with the move we made in hopes for a better life for our family. Well, it was just the opposite. And Christmas was the end of it for us. both toilets and the bath tub overflowing with sewage was the end of what has been a pretty bad experience. We thought this rental would be a nice start for us to get established and it just was and isn't. It started right away with a leak in the roof that ruined our food in the pantry. The first attempt to fix it seemed to work but then the leak became much worse and some family photos of my deceased parents were damaged due to the leak being so bad. We thought our fish tank was leaking due to the amount of water on the floor. We had to knock holes in the ceiling to let the water drain so a crew could come fix it.  Even then we tried to stay positive. but just after Christmas dinner everything changed and we were flooded with raw sewage from both bathrooms. Even one tub was full of it.  One of the worst things was when the crew came out to fix it they told us this has happened here before. So we are reaching out to anyone that can help with moving costs to get us back home to Ogden. We have pulled money together to get a place on short notice, but the moving cost of a truck and gas and moving costs were just not something we were ready for. Anything helps, and I'm sorry to ask. We just need out of here.
