Attacked by a dog

Hi, I am raising funds for a good friend of mine whose son got bitten in his face by a dog. JK is a fun loving 9 year old who was playing with friends, when a dog suddenly turned on him and bit him in his face.

He had to be raced to the hospital and had to endure surgery in order to refasten his lip, since a piece had gotten bitten off. He also had to get stitches on his nose due to more damage from the dog.

Poor JK had to miss school and was afraid to return to school for he feared that his classmates would not love him anymore due to his newly scarred face.

JK's parents didn't have the luxury to find a surgeon in their network, so they are faced with paying out of network bills for utilizing the on-call surgeon that was associated with the emergency room visit.

Besides the financial burden that the family faces due to the surgery, they also have to seek counseling for their son due to his new found fears of dogs and of no longer feeling accepted by his peers.

My heart goes out to JK for he is a sweet boy who deserves to receive all of the love that he gives out in this world.
