In Loving Memory of Eze Re De Leon

Eze Re De Leon was born on January 7, 2024, arriving into the world earlier than expected but with a strength and sweetness that touched every heart around him. In his short 21 months here, his spirit filled each day with love and light.

Eze faced a rare condition affecting his lungs and lymphatic system with strength beyond his years. He spent his days surrounded by the endless love of his family and the dedicated care of those at UCSF. Though he never came home from the hospital, he knew only love—from gentle hands, whispered lullabies, and the warmth of those who held him close in every way they could. A love which reached far beyond the walls of UCSF.

Eze was the sweetest boy, deeply cherished by all who knew him. He leaves behind his loving parents, Erika and Darrell, and three siblings, Scarlett, Leaym, and Ledger, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Even in his brief time, Eze reminded us of the purest kind of love—one that asks for nothing and gives everything. His light will continue to shine through all who loved him.

Eze will always be remembered for his gentle presence and the love he inspired in all who were lucky enough to know him.
