Ben & April's Baby Fund

We met in chemistry class at Chabot College in 2006 and we were immediately drawn to each other’s fun-loving personalities and goofiness. As cheesy as it may sound, we knew from our first date that our lives had changed forever. So in a beautiful ceremony in Mill Valley, California, on January 12, 2008, we were married.
Ben comes from a large family of Filipino and Chinese descent, and I come from Spanish and English descent, so our homes were always filled with plenty of family and lots of kids running around. Lots of titas/aunties, titos/uncles, grandmothers/grandfathers, and many, many cousins.
Because of our upbringings and always being surrounded by family, we knew we would like to have children of our own one day. Once our siblings started having children we fell completely in love with them! Fondly known as Ninong Ben and Auntie Purple, we take an active role in their lives. We love hanging out with them! Whether it be putting together puzzles, riding bikes, having light saber fights, attending their school functions, or watching their favorite movies over and over again, we want to be there for all of it.
These experiences have solidified our strong desire to have a baby of our Own. However, after many years of trying and experiencing the pain of losing two babies through miscarriages, we decided to seek help from reproductive endocrinology and fertility specialists. We have had all of our preliminary tests and have been told by the doctors that we are great candidates for becoming parents (yay!).
Yet, time is not on our side because of our age, so our sister Anne suggested that we should make a gofundme page to see if we can get the help we need. And so, here we are.
We have managed to come up with the majority of the cost, however we are $9,000.00 shy of reaching our goal.  We are asking for whatever help you may be able to offer so that we can fulfill our dream of having a child before it’s too late.

What we want most in life is to be blessed with the opportunity to start a family of our own, and bring a child into this world that will be completely loved and cared for by two sincerely grateful parents.
