Asking for help.....

Alan has entered into rehab due to addiction to pain meds. After having multiple back and knee surgeries, he was given pain meds and needed them constantly increased. As you may know, this is often the problem with opioids. The more you take, the more you need, until they don't help at all anymore. He is doing great! He is at a rehab in New Jersey and has been without pain meds for over 40 days and is attending meetings regularly.

The issue we are facing now, is that he has been moved to residential which means he is responsible for his own daily living expenses. Insurance pays for his stay, but not for food or other personal needs.

I am sending what I can, but it's getting difficult. I'm in the process of filing for bankruptcy and with bills, I only have about $300 left for two weeks.

Anyone who knows me knows I don't ask for help, but I'm at a loss right now. I've tried to sell anything I can to make money, but have found I don't have much of worth.
