My name is Ryan Prinze, and I am raising funds for my Eagle Scout Project. For my Eagle Scout Project, I’m going to get a group of volunteers together to build an outdoor storage shed for the Catawba Ridge High School football team. The plan is pretty simple: we’ll build a sturdy shed, make sure it has a good foundation, solid walls, a roof, doors, and plenty of shelves or racks. I’ll handle getting the OK from the school, rounding up materials through your donations to buy what we need and organizing the workdays with other Scouts, leaders, and helpers. When we’re done, the team will have a secure, weatherproof spot near the football field for all their big gear: helmets, pads, jerseys, tackling dummies, cones, balls, and anything else they use for training.
Adding this storage shed is a big win for the team and the whole school community because:
Everything’s organized and easy to grab - No more hunting for gear that is being stored in various locations within the locker room. Setup and cleanup for practices and games go way faster, so coaches and players can spend more time actually training.
Gear stays in better shape - The shed keeps expensive equipment safe from rain, theft, and getting banged up, so things like helmets and pads last longer.
Smoother team operations and more pride - Having a dedicated storage spot helps everything run better, supports the Varsity and JV team, and gives everyone a boost, making the program feel more professional.
Eagle Scouts often choose projects like this because they demonstrate leadership, careful planning, and dedication to serving the community. Many Scouts have constructed sheds for football, Track & Field, baseball, or other teams as part of their Eagle Scout requirements. Thank you for your support.
