Wildlife Rehabilitation Center: Seeking funding to help rehab injured animals back to health in Kruger National Park

Hello! My name is Christina Metzger and I decided to participate in a volunteer program in South Africa to help nurse abandoned, injured, and poisened animals back to a health. But I need your help.


Wildlife is brought to this rehab center from all corners of South Africa, and once healthy enough, animals are re-introduced into their natural habitats. Those animals that cannot be returned to the wild due to the nature or extent of their injuries are cared for at the center and are used to educate the many people who visit the center each year.

I will be responsible for feeding the animals, treating ill animals, cleaning their enclosures,  and assisting on calls to capture injured animals within Kruger National Park. 

The work of this center is so important to ensure injured animals get the care and rehab they need to be released back into the wild strong and ready to fend for themselves. The facility relys solely on volunteers and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to make a difference in healing these animals to live long, healthy lives. 



I will be heading to South Africa to start this project the first week of October and would love to raise $2,000 before my trip to cover my flight, immunizations, and volunteer costs while I am there.
