Help Rebuild Jeremiah 14 Year Old Shot In Drive-By

Donation protected
On Friday, Aug 7 @ 9:00PM. Jeremiah was in the stairwell of his apartment when he was shot in a drive-by shooting.

His femur is shattered, and a rod with 4 screws are inserted into his leg to support his femur. Jeremiah spent 5 days in Children’s Hospital Oakland recovering. He now has to learn how to walk, run & jump again.

Jeremiah & his family have evacuated their apartment unit for their own safety. This means they’re temporarily displaced and this has caused a significant financial hardship.

Jeremiah is Sophomore at Oakland High School, a Member of the Wildcats Basketball Team, AAU Bay Area Mustangs Basketball Team, an Intern for Brothers on the Rise & Intelligent Minds Positive on Purpose, and a Youth Leader at the Olivet Institutional Missionary Baptist Church.

Jeremiah is a GOOD kid & did NOT deserve to be shot on the way up the stairs of his home.

Mentally, Emotionally, and Physically, Jeremiah is dealing with the reality of recovering from a gun shot wound at 14.

Patience during his recovery is going to be the biggest test of our lives, and I know it will only make us stronger.  Please pray for our family.
