My son, Oliver, has just turned three years old. I have been fighting for custody of my son for nearly two years.

I separated from my partner (Oliver’s father) over two years ago.

In January 2024 I had a severe reaction to a newly prescribed medication which led to hospitalisation and loss of custody. The possible side effects of this medication are well documented but I would still endure a 2 year battle regaining time with my boy.

I’m legally not allowed to discuss court proceedings but finally, in September 2025, a decision was made and court is now complete. This lengthy process took my total costs over $170,000. But all was worth it fighting to see my baby and feel like a mum again.

I have my mortgage to pay every month. That is hard enough as a single mother. I have fought to get my son back, and will fight to keep my home. Please help me pay my legal costs so I can concentrate on paying my mortgage and providing a good life for my little boy Ollie.
