This August, I (Tristan Manwaring), along with Rebecca, Torah, Ashton, Samson, Hannah, and our niece Annelise, are heading to Musoma, Tanzania to volunteer with the UK-based charity Go Make A Difference (Go MAD). We’ll be working hands-on in local communities—building relationships, supporting development, and contributing to projects that make a real, lasting impact.
With a desire to live out our faith through love and service, we’ll be involved in a range of work:
✅ Serving in kids’ church and youth group programs
✅ Working on practical community development projects
Each of us is covering our own travel and living costs, but we’re inviting your support to help fund the actual projects—the materials, tools, and resources that make this work possible.
Through Go MAD, we’ll be taking part in initiatives such as:
• Building water tanks to provide clean, safe drinking water
• Constructing goat sheds to support local families with sustainable farming
• Delivering menstrual health education and hygiene kits to young women
• Planting trees to support long-term environmental health
• Completing building projects started by other teams—such as homes, toilets, and small medical clinics
Every dollar raised goes directly toward these projects on the ground.
Please note: Because Go MAD is a UK-based organisation, unfortunately donations are not tax deductible in Australia.
We’re committed to transparency and sharing the journey. Once the work is completed, we’ll post updates and photos so you can see exactly where your support has gone—and the difference you’ve helped make.
We are so grateful for your support—whether through giving, sharing, or prayerful encouragement. Thank you for helping us make a difference.
