Ground Espresso Bars and Zachary Geddis Break the Silence Trust have joined together to promote local business and local charities as a final fundraising push for 2020.
The Zachary Geddis Break the Silence Trust was founded by the Geddis Family in 2017 after the suicide of their son and only sibling Zachary.
Spear headed by Yasmin Geddis, ZGBTST offers the community of Northern Ireland and further afield access to quick and professional mental health services, counselling, mentoring and more.
With 3 locations in Northern Ireland and a 24 hour helpline service, the maintenance of this free service is extremely important to the community. Ran by volunteers their mission statement is to raise more mental health awareness in Northern Ireland and decrease the stigma surrounding Suicide.
ZGBTST and Ground Coffee have a great relationship as both Zachary and Yasmin have been employees in Ground in their late teens, Zachary in particular through working in the Ground Store is loved and missed by many.
Throughout the month of December, donation buckets and information now how to achieve mental health support will be displayed in every Ground store across Northern Ireland.
