IVF transfer
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Charlotte and I'm fundraising for my next IVF transfer.
At 14 months old, I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer due to being born with 3 ovaries and 1 turning cancerous. Due to the chemo I had, I was told I would need to have children by the time I'm 30 as the side effects of chemo start later in life. Due to this, I've always been aware that I may be a solo parent, I used to joke with my Mum that on my 30th birthday I would go to the sperm bank.
I had tests when I turned 30 and was grateful to be told my hormone levels were typical of a "normal" 30 year old. In 2022, I decided to proceed with the process of starting to become a solo parent. After a consultation, additional testing at my chosen clinic, and shopping for a sperm donor, I was able to start IVF in July 2023 and had my egg collection. I was lucky enough to get 10 viable, good quality embryos. Due to OHSS I was unable to have a fresh transfer.
I had my first frozen embryo transfer in October 2023 which failed, had my second frozen embryo transfer in January 2024 which failed and my third frozen embryo transfer in June 2024 which resulted in a chemical pregnancy at just over 4 weeks pregnant.
I'm lucky enough to not have any fertility issues and I never expected to be planning my fourth transfer. I've already spent a small fortune and would be grateful for any donation towards making my dream of being a mother come true.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you in advance for any donation, no matter how big or small. xx
