As we’ve had a couple of days to process… Wednesday late afternoon, my family’s house started on fire. They went through last night and salvaged a few clothes from my brother's room and luckily my mom's wedding dress that was in the basement. Other than that, they have no choice but to start over. I know they will never ask for help, even when needed, and I know they will find their way on their own because they always do, but I am hoping to help in any small or big amount.

As my parents (Nella & Woody Witczek) own a small business and they employ me, we officed out of their house so my mom can help with my babies during business hours. As lucky as we have been with the situation we had, it was all taken Wednesday. Thankfully, everything is replaceable and no one, nor the dogs, were hurt. Now comes the expenses and stress as they navigate a place to live and move forward with ensuring the family business stays afloat so everyone’s income still comes in.

Though they lost everything from shampoo to beds to printers, I’m hoping to raise enough immediately to get them help as they look for a place to live - goal is to get them at least mattresses with bedding, a couch, a dining table, and kitchen essentials.

Open to donations or affordable gently used items as well - clothes, dishes, small kitchen appliances, bedroom furniture, office essentials, etc.
