Update: He is now scheduled to be released April 19th, 2025
Dear Supporters,
My name is Savanna Dick, and I am reaching out to you to support my brother, Trey Dick, as he prepares to re-enter society after 14 years of incarceration. Trey is scheduled for release on May 9, 2025, and we are seeking assistance to help him transition smoothly into this new chapter of his life.
Trey’s Story
At the age of 21, Trey was involved in an accident that profoundly affected his life and the lives of others. Recognizing his mistakes, he has spent the past 14 years working diligently to better himself. During his time in prison, Trey earned his GED and has been serving as a paralegal, assisting fellow inmates. He is eager to continue his career in the legal field, with job opportunities awaiting him in Tampa or Orlando. Trey also is a type 2 diabetic and will require regular visits to the endocrinologist, insulin injections and supplies.
How You Can Help
Upon his release, Trey will be starting anew, without basic necessities such as clothing, shoes, a phone, or transportation. He does not have a driver’s license, making a bicycle essential for his mobility. While housing assistance is anticipated 30 days prior to his release, we aim to have contingency funds available in case those plans fall through. Your contributions will provide Trey with:
• Basic clothing and personal items
• A mobile phone to facilitate communication and job searches
• A bicycle for transportation to and from work
• Funds for meals and daily expenses during his initial transition
Our Goal
Our objective is to raise sufficient funds to ensure Trey does not have to worry about his next meal or transportation. Having spent more time in prison than in freedom, Trey deserves the opportunity to lead a normal, fulfilling life—one that many of us may take for granted.
Join Us in Supporting Trey
Even if you are unable to donate, your support through sharing this campaign and keeping Trey and our family in your thoughts and prayers is invaluable. Together, we can provide Trey with the foundation he needs to become a productive and positive member of society.
Thank you for your compassion and support.
Sincerely,
Savanna Dick
