Hi, my name is Teresa and I’m fundraising for my sweet dog Duke.

Duke is only 18 months old—a friendly, playful, and loyal boy who has already been through so much. He was dumped on the streets of Tulare, CA at just 5 months old, and when I found him, I promised he would never be abandoned again.

Sadly, Duke has suffered a horrific accident. A backhoe tire rolled back onto him, leaving him with a broken pelvis and bilateral sacroiliac joint displacement. This painful injury has made it nearly impossible for him to walk or play like the happy pup he used to be.

The veterinarians say Duke needs specialist orthopedic surgery to reset and stabilize his joints with screws. Without this surgery, Duke may never walk again. The cost of this life-changing procedure is estimated at $8,000—far more than I can manage alone.

Duke has fought so hard already in his short life, and he deserves the chance to run, play, and live without pain.
