<div><strong>Duke is only 18 months old—a friendly, playful, and loyal boy who has already been through so much.</strong> He was dumped on the streets of Tulare, CA at just 5 months old, and when I found him, I promised he would never be abandoned again.

<div>Sadly, Duke has suffered a horrific accident. A backhoe tire rolled back onto him, leaving him with a broken pelvis and bilateral sacroiliac joint displacement. This painful injury has made it nearly impossible for him to walk or play like the happy pup he used to be.

<div>The veterinarians say Duke needs specialist orthopedic surgery to reset and stabilize his joints with screws. <strong>Without this surgery, Duke may never walk again.</strong> The cost of this life-changing procedure is estimated at $8,000—far more than I can manage alone.

<div>Duke has fought so hard already in his short life, and he deserves the chance to run, play, and live without pain.
