Help Zeke & Katie Rebuild Their Lives After Flood Loss

On April 24th, 2025, a dreadful and unexpected rainstorm swept through the area, leaving destruction in its wake. Among those affected were two of the kindest souls I know, Zeke and Katie. A couple who have not only built a life full of love and laughter together, but who have also been the kind of friends who show up for everyone else, without hesitation, time and time again.

This early morning, floodwaters came into their home, destroying nearly everything in its path. Most of their belongings are gone. Zeke’s vehicle was lost. The home they so carefully made into a haven is now damaged beyond use. And through it all, they’ve held on to hope, love, and one another.

But the road ahead is long.

While vehicle and flood insurance may cover some of the damages, there are so many uncovered costs like temporary relocation, a rental vehicle, and the countless day-to-day expenses that come with starting over from scratch.

This GoFundMe is our way of surrounding Zeke and Katie with the same love and support they’ve given to so many others. It’s a way to ease the burden, if only a little, and remind them they are not alone.
