The destruction from Hurricane Melissa has totally devastated the whole island of Jamaica. Especially St. Elizabeth (Woodlands, New Market, Nightingale Grove, Cataboo, and all surrounding communities). There are many families blocked in on all paths out of town, where the only way out is on foot and to take a boat. Roads are not safe to travel as there are downed powerlines, trees, and undrivable street conditions.
