Kathy

It is with heavy heart that we share with you that our sister Kathleen O'Sullivan or as most of you know her as Kathy was recently diagnosed with bowel cancer and has undergone major surgery to hopefully remove the tumor. Kathy has spent the last 7 weeks in hospital she was released on Friday. we are hoping she will be strong enough to start Chemo treatment in 3 weeks time this will be for about 6 months so she still has a long road of recovery ahead of her.

As some of you may know Kathy also lost her 21 year old Daughter Brook in July last year in a car accident as you can imagine she is still mourning her loss and now to be hit with this is beyond devastating.

Kathy lives alone in a fairly isolated area she has a number of animals of her own to care for as well as the ones that belonged to Brook. Kathy will need ongoing care for some time and will not be able to return to work for at least 12 months she is solely responsible for her own income. Kathy is a strong women but these last few months have almost knocked the life out of her.

We would like to make life a little easier for her in the coming months and help with the financial burden during her recovery.

Any money raised will go towards household bills, mortgage repayments, food and also the cost of out of pocket expenses like medical bills and trips to treatment appointments or any in home care she may need
