Hello, I am a friend of Zaya! Thanks to everyone's support, we have been able to reach close to 1000 Euros! Zaya expressed to me that her utmost priority at the moment has changed, and it is to invest on her feminization surgeries. This has been a long time coming despite the lack of financial access to these surgeries. We deeply appreciate every single donation to our previous priority. We also request your understanding regarding this change.

On multiple occasions, including recently, Zaya had expressed to me her need to leave the city of Lisbon and Portugal, mainly due to being unable to find work. This was the reason why we started this Gofund. However, I want to share that through perseverance in contributing to a cultural scene and community, Zaya is back on the gigs! The bus IS still running, she is driving it and I am just proud of her. Even though the gigs do not bring stability and are a means to survive, they bring something that makes them worth.

Zaya is still battling homelessness while being dependent on friends and the community to be able to find places to live for short periods of time. She has been jumping from place to place without being able to find a stable housing situation. This situation has not yet changed.
