A Call to Help Rebuild Our Home

My name is Nermin Wael. I am 31 years old, a wife of three children, each of whom is a treasure in our humble family of five. Our circle is small, but connected by an unbreakable bond, complete with my father, mother, and six sisters. We have lost everything.
The Newborn Without a Home or Water: A Struggle from the First Moment

In a moment that should be filled with joy, a child is born, but instead of finding a warm embrace and a safe home, they face a harsh and unforgiving reality. No home to shelter them, no clean water to drink, as if life has begun with challenges beyond their comprehension or ability to endure.
A Life of Suffering from the Start
Children are born into dire humanitarian conditions, where destruction, hunger, and lack of basic services prevail. In refugee camps or war-torn cities, thousands of children enter this world only to find themselves homeless, struggling against cold in the winter and heat in the summer, without a warm bed or even clean water to drink and bathe.
With the absence of infrastructure or polluted water sources, even the most basic needs, like a sip of clean water, become a difficult dream to achieve. Diseases spread among children due to contaminated water, and malnutrition worsens their health, reducing their chances of survival.
The newborn does not choose where they are born, but they deserve to begin life with dignity. We are responsible for raising our voices and contributing to solutions that ensure them a better life. Let their first moments not be filled with suffering, but with the hope of a new beginning.

The Joy of Surviving Despite the War
Amid the sound of bombs tearing through the silence of the night and the scent of destruction surrounding every corner, the war felt like a nightmare consuming our lives moment by moment. Yet, in the midst of this overwhelming darkness, a ray of light emerged: we are still alive.
As the explosions subsided and the smoke began to clear, I looked around to find my husband and children beside me, safe in body and spirit. I couldn’t hold back my tears—tears mixed with the fear we had endured and the overwhelming joy that washed over us. That moment was a priceless blessing, to be together despite everything, even though the war had taken so much from us.
Our joy was not just in surviving but in holding onto the hope of returning to our home. Even if the walls have turned to rubble and every corner is damaged, the spirit that brought us together in that house remains strong. We are not returning to just a place, but to memories, dreams, and a life we will rebuild again.
The war taught us an invaluable lesson: life is not about material possessions, but about the loved ones by our side. We believe that staying together is our greatest strength and that hope, even in the darkest circumstances, is what allows us to rebuild our lives.
A Call to Help Rebuild Our Home
Losing our home was not just losing a shelter; it was losing an entire life. Every corner of that house held a story, memories, and dreams for my three children and the baby I am expecting. Now, we face a great challenge to rebuild the place that once provided us with safety and stability.
I appeal to everyone who can help, in any way possible, to be part of our journey to restore our lives. This house will not just be a building; it will be a new space for love, hope, and fresh beginnings.
Every contribution, no matter how small, means the world to us. With your support, we can rebuild our home and provide my children with a safe and dignified life. Thank you to everyone standing with us in this difficult moment, helping us shape a better future.
