ZANZIBAR MASJID PROJECT

I hope you’re well and in the best of health.

I am hoping to build a masjid as a means of Sadaqa Jaariya for my parents, however mainly for my father due to his poor health (01/09/23). Can I please request everyone to make dua for my father who sadly passed away on 19/10/23. May Allah grant him the highest ranks in jannah, Ameen. 

I will be undertaking this project privately in collaboration with Aquanimity, a nonprofit charity. The organisation is led by dedicated brothers who are not only close friends but also have extensive experience in overseeing the construction and completion of numerous water wells. This masjid will mark Aquanimity’s first masjid project. 

Alhumdulillah we have found a suitable location in Zanzibar. The location is in an island called Unguja. As you can see in the images the masjid is under bad condition and with the help of you donating we can turn this into a well constructed masjid where the locals will have a safe place to pray. This masjid will include a new construction of the masjid, men/women praying area, water well, wudhu area, toilets for men/women and many more features. We have also had the transfer of ownership under the charity called Aquanimity which is ran by the brothers I’m working with on this project. The masjid project will start on 29/09/23 Insh’Allah.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘Whoever constructs a masjid for Allah, Allah will construct a house for him in Paradise’. [Bukhari] By building a masjid, you will not only earn the reward of providing a community with a house of Allah, but your Sadaqah Jariyah will continue giving benefit for generations to come إن شاء الله.

I would greatly appreciate any donations you can make to facilitate this project to completion. Please remember that an investment like this is one that will never perish.

Please keep my father in your duas. May Allah shower my dad with his rahma and grant him the highest ranks in jannah. May Allah accept all his suffering as an expiation of all his sins. آمين
