Zambia's Childrens Fund
Donation protected
My names are Chalanga Mwale I am 19 years old. I am from Southern Africa Zambia Chingola. I am a second year student pursuing a bachelors degree in clinical medicine at Eden university in Lusaka Zambia.
I am the visionary and founder of New Hope which is a group of youths that work together with society to ensure every child is well nourished, educated and cared for. New Hope has been in existence for a year and some months now.
We visit orphanages, identify children living in poverty and come up with ideas of how we can help them. We raise donations to fund our various projects and also contribute a fixed amount of K30 every month($2) to fund projects.
I noticed that there are so many children near my university that are living in poverty, in child headed homes and do not attend school. After a lot of thought and prayer I decided to start fundraising to set up a children’s home to accommodate children living in poverty, those in child headed homes and send them to school.
My goal is to bring hope through the love of Christ and provide shelter and other basic needs to different children because it should never hurt to be a child. Our home will be a place of love, acceptance and understanding a place where Gods love is real.
The decision was very big for me and I have involved a lot of friends and people as we work out the best way to start.
I hope to provide not just shelter but food, education and most importantly a PLACE TO CALL HOME for different children.
I am so grateful for your interest in our project and I hope you will consider partnering with us to make this possible.
My goal is to accommodate 10 children as we begin and we will keep admitting more vulnerable children as time goes on. The children’s home will be called Kusamala children’s home Kusamala means (care)
The fundraising goal is $1500 this will cover the home we will rent, food, house supplies, clothes, toys and will enable us start various businesses to generate funds for us to keep the home running. We will accommodate 10 children at the beginning and keep admitting more vulnerable children as time goes on.
If we raise more than our goal, we will accommodate more children as start and build a house which will lessen the burden of renting a house and also build a school to prepare children that have never attended school for school.
As a missionary I raise my own personal support separately. Therefore ALL of the money raised by this GoFundMe campaign will go directly to the HOME and SCHOOL project.
GoFundMe is not directly available in Zambia, so my ministry partner And cofounder of Kusamala children’s home Peyton Jackson is hosting the campaign in the USA and will be transferring the full amount raised to my bank account in Zambia.
She is the cofounder and has put in so much effort to try to set up the home, you can rely on her to transfer the money as soon as it is available.
Let us do everything we can to ensure that our children can grow and develop in health and knowledge and have access to everything they need to do so. Let us aim to provide an environment of love and understanding. Let us continue to provide our children with the free education they need to flourish into productive members of society.
Thank you so much for your prayers, encouragement, and consideration.
May God bless you.
