Hello. My name is Aaron Doherty and I will be travelling with my school, St David’s Holy Faith Secondary in Greystones, to Zambia on October 23 for ten days to visit and help at Nsobe Community School.

Nsobe School is a remote, rural Christian school providing opportunity to children who formerly did not have access to education. Established in 2009 with 16 pre-school children, it now supports over 600 children taught by 34 teachers.

The 24 St David’s pupils and staff will be providing Nsobe money towards the employment of several teachers and the purchase of crucial teaching, learning and sporting equipment.

I am hoping to raise €500 towards the cost of my trip by completing a 10km run before I leave. I would hugely appreciate if you would sponsor me for this. Thank you so much!
