Hello, my name is Eleanor and in June 2026 I will be going to Zambia through my school, Belfast Royal Academy, as part of an international work experience trip.

The core aim of the trip is to serve local Zambian communities whilst allowing us to experience different types of international work there.

At Vinjeru School, in Kapiri-Mposhi, we will be teaching in the primary school, and helping with construction projects. We may also have the opportunity to accompany a children’s doctor at the major local hospital there.

Additionally, we will learn more about the agricultural industry and conservation within the African Bush in Ndubaluba.

In order to raise some of the money required for this trip I will be embarking on a number of hiking challenges around Ireland, along with some (unlucky) family and friends!

I will be posting my progress with these hikes on my instagram, for anyone who would like to keep up with my fundraising efforts.
