Shimia passed away on September 15th, 2025, peacefully, with her families by her side. She has left an indelible imprint on all who crossed her path and was loved by all who met her.
Due to the outpouring of offers of support for Shimia's chosen family, Rikelle, Cameron and Deon Hendrickson, we are creating a new outlet to support them as they navigate life without their daughter and sister.
Funds raised will go toward the cost of Shimia's celebration of life and other end of life financial strains placed on the family as they walk the unthinkable path of laying their beloved daughter and sister to rest.
Shimia's celebration of life will be held at Clyde Iron Works in Duluth, on Sunday September 28th from 2-4pm. Please consider joining the family for light refreshments and fellowship.
