In honor of my bar mitzvah, I'm raising awareness and funds in honor of my late grandmother, Faye Geronemus, to benefit Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I picked the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society because my grandmother died from this disease.   I loved spending time with Grandma Faye, eating pizza and ice cream on Lincoln Road after school, playing at her house, and celebrating holidays together.

It is important to me to raise awareness and money to find a cure for this disease, so other people don’t have to go through the pain of losing someone they love to this disease.
