When she was just two years old, she was diagnosed with leukemia. Her battle with cancer lasted two and a half years, and November 12 marks her tenth anniversary of being cancer-free! This milestone is a personal victory for her and a celebration of hope and resilience.

Hello Friends, Family, and Many Others!

Thank you for following my 2,650 mile journey on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) from Canada to Mexico. It’s been an amazing experience filled with beautiful sunsets, demanding climbs, sprained ankles, and refreshing bodies of water. Every day offers new and unexpected challenges and delights while teaching me things about myself and the world around me. I’ve been on the trail 3.5 months and I’m roughly 3 weeks (and approximately 500 miles) from completing this endeavor.

Many PCT hikers attempt a “24-hour hiking challenge” and I’ve decided to have a go at this challenge too. Essentially, the idea is to see how many miles I can hike in 24-hours. I will attempt this challenge while fundraising to support the work of Blood Cancer United. Blood Cancer United’s mission is to cure blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma while improving the lives of patients and their families. This cause is particularly personal because my childhood friend, Olivia, was recent diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Please join me by supporting Blood Cancer United and sharing your strength with Olivia as she battles this disease.

Hi, I’m Neil!

This November, I’m taking on one of the biggest challenges of my life: running the New York City Marathon. But I’m not just doing it for the medal — I’m doing it to support a cause that truly matters.

I’ve decided to dedicate my marathon to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), an organization working to fund blood cancer research, support patients and families, and bring us closer to a cure.

Cancer has touched the lives of so many people — some close to me, and others I’ve never met but whose stories have been shared. Blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma affect thousands of families every year, and LLS is at the forefront of the fight to change that.

Running 26.2 miles is a challenge, but it’s nothing compared to the battle cancer patients face every day. I’m running to honor their strength and to help raise funds that go directly toward groundbreaking research and life-saving support.
