Zachary Turner Memorial & Trust Fund for Bennett

Hi, I am Trish the Mother-in-law of Zachary Wayne Turner, and the grandmother to his son, Bennett. I’m creating this fundraiser to not only provide financial supports with funeral costs and transportation costs for his son to come home, as well as set up a trust fund that will assist his son, Bennett in his growing development and necessary needs as he is a5 year old who has Autism.

Back in 2013 Zachary came into our families life. My daughter, Acacia fell in love with this beautiful soul. It was then they created their first child Carter who unfortunately he didn’t survive. Months later they created another beautiful soul who arrived on a December 23,2017 a baby boy and named him Bennett. Through the struggles and hardships they have gone through as a family on both sides we always stuck together. This is when we took Zachary in as not only as beautiful soul, but looked at him as an addition to the family and a son. Even through the hardships, we all managed to get through it one way or another especially when they lost Carter. We now lose another beautiful soul Zachary at the age of 28 on September 22, 2023 and with this I asked our communities help because it does take a community to raise a child. It’s not just the parents and family members but a whole community to support one another to get through the hardships and obstacles. With these funds that we raise it help with funeral costs, travel costs for my daughter, Acacia and my grandson Bennett to come back to Saskatchewan to say their final good byes to their loved one, Zackary. The remainder of the funds will be put into a Trust Fund for Bennett. This will assist Bennett with any other extra help and assistance to help cope and excel in his developmental delays.
