Mission Trip to Brazil!

Hey, my name is Zak and I'm raising money to head to Brazil on my first mission trip next month (11th April!)

Where am I going and who am I going with?

I will be going to São Paulo, Brazil with my church - Imprint London.

What will we be doing in São Paulo?

The trip will be for one week (11th April - 18th April) and we will be staying on a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base. Whilst we are there, we will serve the community on the base - cooking, cleaning and whatever else they need help with. We will be getting involved with compassion ministry in the area which will include going into the favelas and different parts of Sao Paulo to preach the gospel as well as share Jesus with people on a one-on-one basis. Not only in terms of outreach, we will also be leading bible studies with university students and also preaching, teaching and supporting different churches across the region.

Context behind the trip

Last year (2022), I had the privilege of attending IMPRINT London's Mission Trip. We saw the Glory of the Lord fill the room week after week and we were able to learn a lot about what it looks like to be a missionary in our everyday lives, what an overseas trip looks like and how to go about the challenges we may face on the field. It has finally come to the time to go on our first mission trip as a church and this will also be my first mission trip in my life - very exciting!
