My dear friends, Alisha and Stephen Rose lost their beautiful son, Zach on March 22. These are Alisha’s words:

Our beautiful boy, Zach, returned to his loving Heavenly Parents. Zach had a perfect heart, and as Stephen said “I’d take a perfect heart over a perfect brain any day.” Zach faced battles with his mental health that none of us can truly understand. But through it all he loved his family deeply and worked diligently at every job he had. He fought his battles bravely and never stopped believing in his loving Savior, Jesus Christ. He loved his siblings, Nic and Eden, so much and was the most dedicated son. We will miss him every single day. We do know, however, that his perfect spirit lives on, and we will be reunited someday.

I’m Janet Lythgoe and am so proud of Zach and the Rose family. Zach tried so hard to live when every minute was a struggle. His family did everything possible to help him. He now is free from his anguish and has peace he yearned for desperately.

With tragedy, comes unforeseen amounts of financial responsibility. The funds raised will be used for funeral expenses and financial obligations Zach had. If you’re unable to donate, please give smiles and love to those who are struggling with mental illness.
