My name is Zach Garfield and I’m a senior at JJ Pearce High School. I am a Life Scout in Troop 1001, and currently, I’m working on my Eagle Scout Project for Pearce. My project will entail building 5 picnic tables for an outdoor learning space in the courtyard at school, along with flattening the soil and laying down gravel. The funds I raise will be used for purchasing materials such as wood, sandpaper, stain, gravel, bolts/screws, snacks for volunteers, and transportation. This project will take place over the course of 3 weekends. If I have funds left over when I finish my project, I will donate them to Student Government to help with the renovation of the courtyard. I would greatly appreciate it if everyone could pitch in and help make this project a reality.
