As a parent, nothing is more frightening than watching your child struggle to breathe and not knowing why — or how to help them.

Over and over again, my son has been rushed to hospital with his oxygen saturation dropping as low as 80%. Each time, he needs oxygen to stabilise him. Each time, we leave with more questions than answers. Despite repeated admissions and growing concern, we have been unable to get the testing and treatment he urgently needs through the NHS.

Watching your child suffer while feeling powerless is a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

After exhausting every option available to us here, I’ve made the heartbreaking but determined decision to take my son to Poland, where he can receive private medical testing and treatment that could finally give us answers — and most importantly, a path forward. Doctors there are able to run the investigations that have not been made available to us, and we are holding onto hope that this could change everything for him.

The funds raised will be used entirely for:

Private medical tests and consultations

Necessary treatments in Poland

Travel and related medical expenses

This is not an easy thing for me to ask. But as a parent, I will do anything in my power to help my child breathe freely, feel safe, and live a healthy life.
