Hugs for Hazel

As you may already know, my brother in law, Ron Mazurek, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on Easter morning at far too young of an age. Leaving behind his 14 year old daughter, Hazel, his wife, Elaine, a loving family, and many wonderful friends.

Hazel has experienced so much tragedy already in her young life. When just a toddler, her beautiful Mother, Elaine, developed and fought hard to overcome Triple Negative Breast Cancer. It later metastasized to her brain, leaving her permanently disabled and unable to care for Hazel. This was devastating for Ron, yet, with the help of his loving family, he raised Hazel with as much love and memories as he possibly could. She was his pride and joy, and he was her number one person. They loved hiking together, vacationing at the Jersey Shore, playing boardwalk games at Lucky Leo’s, going to Playa Bowls, taking their dog, Peanut, to the dog park, and countless other things that have tragically been cut short.

If you could, please help us get a head start on trying to provide Hazel with the best life possible. She’s been through so much already, has a heart of gold just like her parents, and deserves to have a beautiful future filled with opportunity and love.
