I’m on a whole new mission this year and I would love to invite as many people as possible to be a part of this mission to subscribe 2 change here in the city of Philadelphia.
As a nonprofit organization we survive off of the support from the community as well as grants if we find ourselves to be eligible for them.
However, with so much going on here in the city of Philadelphia I am asking that my community stand up and fight with me and my organization as we TRY TO ELEVATE OUR IMPACT.
WE ARE SEEKING TO RAISE $120,000 FROM JULY 11th 2022 to DECEMBER 2022 with residents subscribing to change every month! NO DONATION IS TO SMALL AND THAT IS THE BEAUTIFUL OF OUR #subscribe2change FUND RAISER! #angelsonassignment IN FULL EFFECT. WE ARE LOOKING FOR 1,000 COMMUNITY RESIDENTS THAT ARE CAPABLE AND WILLING TO DONATE A MINIMUM OF $20 A MONTH STARTING THIS MONTH AND TAKING THE PLEDGE TO REPEAT THAT EACH MONTH UNTIL THE END OF DECEMBER. IF WE CAN GET 1,000 ppl to DONATE JUST $20 A MONTH that EQUALS $20,000 for JUST THE month. In JUST 6 months we CAN see $120,000 in funding.
YOU CAN ALWAYS DONATE LESS AND YOU CAN MOST DEFINITELY DONATE MORE! I JUST KNOW WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER- I have had to cancel a lot of events due to a lack of funding - AND AS MANY KNOW I EVEN LOST A LOCKER FILLED WITH DONATIONS BECAUSE I COULDN’T AFFORD IT. BUT WITH CONSISTENT FUNDING THAT CAN ALL CHANGE. This is not about raising money to just wash clothes and give out diapers. Although that is our primary program we have so much more that we offer and want to offer the community. Not only with $20,000 a month could we continue our programs but we could also start putting mothers in new cars every month, We can open up buildings in different parts of the city so that we can have a more residential impact on families and children; create safe havens for our YOUTH. WE WANT TO REINVEST THE MONEY WE RAISE INTO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AND NOT JUST OURs. SOME MANY ORGANIZATIONS HAVE BREATHED LIFE INTO @sistatalkphl like @[email redacted]ashi @sankofahealingstudio @forgetmeknot_ @phillydefenders along with so many more YET AND STILL WE WANT TO REACH A LEVEL WHERE CAN CAN BREATHE LIFE INTO OUR COMMUNITY AS THEY HAD AND CONTINUE TO DO !!!!
