All for Love Bill & Dena Meadows

Our names are Michael and Kara Sisti, and we are raising money for Bill and Dena Meadows to help lessen the burden of finances while Bill continues with his NET Cancer treatment.

This is important to us because we love them, and this would be one less thing to worry about going through treatment as they already have so much to think about.

There is no cure for NET Cancer at this time, but the treatment Bill receives does help slow the tumor progression.

Please take the time to read the latest update from my sister Dena.

After seeing the oncologist, there was good news and bad news. The good news is that his treatment regimen is helping to keep the tumors from getting worse for now. I’m trying really hard to focus on that and I am grateful that’s the case after battling this for 3 years now. But the bad news is that it’s hard to say exactly when but at some point this treatment will stop working. There aren’t many options left at that point. Surgery is no longer being discussed, other treatments have been done and no longer work for him and although this regimen is helping to keep the tumors stable, it is not shrinking them and the side effects are so hard on him. He now has to see an Endocrinologist, hearing specialist, nutritionist and a palliative care nurse just to deal with the side effects! That’s in addition to bloodwork/ oncology Dr visits and infusions every 2 weeks. We really love his team of doctors and trust their opinions but after talking to our friend Susan Meckler Plummer we have decided to get a second opinion by a top specialist in Bill’s cancer in Kentucky, Dr. Chauhan.

Please keep the prayers coming that there will be an alternative treatment or promising Clinical trial that can help him!! The best years of his life are just starting and thank God he is such a positive person and still has fight in him!! Thank you for all the love and support and prayers so far!!
