We are adopting….again!!!

Hey friends!

Now that we have shared the big news that we are adopting again, I wanted to take a second to share a little bit more of our story.

We have had the honor and joy of growing our family through adoption with our son Maddox - who is now almost 3! We love being parents and we love Maddox with every fiber in our being….but Jimmy and I had come to the decision that we just didn’t feel led to pursue having another baby UNLESS God made it abundantly clear to us in some way.

Well…..In October, Maddox’s birth mom texted us that she was pregnant again and asked us if we would be willing to consider adopting this child as she was not able to support another one. She wanted this child to be with a (half) sibling, rather than going to a different family.

We immediately said YES - trusting that somehow God would provide. And let me tell you….He has and He is! As we were walking through a season of Jimmy finding another job - I questioned why God would bring this to us at the same time. I just kept hearing the Lord say to my heart - TRUST ME! Through all my anxiety and fear, that has been my main prayer “Lord, I trust you.”

So that’s what we have done and are continuing to do! Jimmy has started a wonderful new job (Praise the Lord for His provision!) and we are ready to press forward in faith that He will continue making a way financially!

Though we plan to do several fundraisers over the next few months, if you feel led and would like to help support us financially on this journey it would mean the world to us!
