Hello, my name is Luz, as many of us now know, Ice raided Glenn Valley Foods this Tuesday June 10th and detained many of their hardworking employees. One of them being, our very own mother. She went in to work that Tuesday morning, (as well as the many others that were forced to show up) not knowing she wouldn't make it back home.

She came here as a single mom of 4, many years ago, & has lived here her entire life working and providing a better life for herself and my siblings. I know many of you could agree that she is very humble, hardworking, & if you've ever come to her for help, she has always tried to help you in any way she can. Because that is who she is. She has the kindest heart and I know she would greatly appreciate any help you can provide us with.

Hola, me llamo Luz. Como muchos ya sabemos, ICE llevo a cabo una redada en Glenn Valley Foods este martes 10 de Junio y detuvo a muchos de sus empleados, entre ellos a nuestra propia madre. Ella fue a trabajar ese martes por la mañana (al igual que muchos otros que se vieron obligados a presentarse) sin saber que no regresaría a casa.

Llegó aquí hace muchos años como madre soltera de cuatro hijos y ha vivido aquí toda su vida, trabajando para poder brindarnos una mejor vida. Sé que muchos estarán de acuerdo en que es muy humilde y trabajadora, y si alguna vez han recurrido a ella en busca de ayuda, siempre ha intentado ayudarlos en todo lo posible. Porque así es ella. Tiene un corazón muy bondadoso y sé que agradecería enormemente cualquier ayuda que puedan brindarnos.
